Sun Auto Tire & Service Acquires Larry Harer Goodyear, adding to a growing Ohio footprint

 

• Larry Harer Goodyear, a well-established automotive repair and tire service company with two locations, will become part of the Sun Auto Tire & Service family.
• Sun Auto’s footprint in Ohio was initially established in 2024 with the purchase of Boyd’s Tire in the Columbus area.

 

OHIO – Sun Auto Tire & Service today announced the acquisition of two Larry Harer Goodyear locations – one in Heath, OH and one in Newark, OH. This acquisition further strengthens the Sun Auto footprint in central Ohio, following the acquisition of seven Boyd’s Tire locations in 2024.
Founded in 1978, Larry Harer Goodyear locations have been a staple in Licking County for nearly 50 years. The company has been voted ‘Best Oil Change’ and ‘Best Tire Shop’ by readers of the Newark Advocate for several years running and has developed a strong customer base thanks to their trusted automotive care.
