MESA, ARIZONA – Sun Auto Tire & Service announces the acquisition of three Cecil & Sons Discount Tires locations in the greater Tulsa area, joining seven Tate Boys Tire & Service locations. In addition to their focus on strategic M&A, the company continues to demonstrate their ability to achieve organic growth with a new Ramona Tire & Service Center location in Murrieta, California.
After successful 33-store Caliber Auto Care acquisition, Sun Auto Tire & Service continues growth in the Texas & Oklahoma market by adding Cecil & Sons Discount Tires to its portfolio.
Cecil & Sons Discount Tires was founded as a two-bay service station in 1973 by Cecil Cox. Now at three locations run by Cecil’s sons Brian and Troy, they have faithfully served the Tulsa market and surrounding areas with award-winning service for over 50 years.

Sun Auto opens 18th Ramona Tire & Service Center, in Murrieta California
In addition to M&A growth, Sun Auto Tire & Service is committed to organic new store development. Today marks the opening of the newest Ramona Tire & Service Centers location at 27940 Clinton Keith Road in Murrieta, CA.

At eight bays, the new building is over 5,000 square feet and will perform a full catalog of services, including oil changes, tires, and all automotive maintenance and repair services. The state-of-the-art facility will also perform the Sun360 Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI), which enhances transparency and trust with customers. The DVI provides detailed information about a vehicle’s condition and empowers guests to make informed decisions about their vehicle repairs.
