Sun Auto Tire & Service Surpasses Milestone of 500 Locations Nationwide
- The brand continues its journey of nationwide growth with 27 new locations in the past month, a blend of both strategic acquisitions and new construction across Arizona, Arkansas, Illinois, and Indiana.
- In all, the company has added over 75 retail locations and warehouses this calendar year and has plans for additional robust growth in 2025.
MESA, Ariz. (December 16, 2024) – Sun Auto Tire & Service today announced a significant milestone in its growth with the acquisition of twenty-four Greulich’s Auto Repair shops in the greater Phoenix metro area. This significant strategic acquisition grows their Arizona footprint to 83 locations across the state.
Also added to the Sun Auto map this month are three new Plaza Tire Service shops in Arkansas, Illinois and Indiana. These additions are the latest chapter in a continuing story of vigorous nationwide expansion for Sun Auto Tire & Service brands, marking a major growth milestone by exceeding 500 locations nationwide.

The new shops in Phoenix, Arizona; Paragould, Arkansas; Quincy, Illinois; and Evansville, Indiana, expand the brand’s footprint in all four states, building on a strong network of existing storefronts in each. The Evansville acquisition is the second Sun Auto location in the area, indicating the brand’s commitment to strategic growth in new and existing markets.
In 2024, Sun Auto Tire & Service has added over 75 retail and warehouse facilities to its portfolio across the United States through both acquisition and strategic organic development, including its first foray into Indiana with a Plaza Tire location in Newburgh last month.
