Sun Auto Tire & Service Expands to Tennessee, Grows Footprint in Mississippi with Recent Acquisitions
- Barrett’s Tire, established in 1951, becomes Sun Auto’s first location in Tennessee—the 25th state in which the company operates.
- On July 1, Sun also acquired Miller’s OK Tire Store in Columbus, Mississippi.
MESA, ARIZONA – Sun Auto Tire & Service today announced two recent acquisitions – Barrett’s Tire of Dover, TN, and Miller’s OK Tire in Columbus, MS.
July 28th marks Sun Auto’s first day of ownership of Barrett’s Tire, which has been serving Stewart County since 1951. The Barrett’s team is well-known in Stewart County for providing top-tier automotive and tire service. Although the acquisition of Barrett’s Tire is Sun Auto’s first entry into Tennessee, the facility is located near existing Sun Auto Tire & Service Network locations operating as Plaza Tire Service in southwest Kentucky.
The addition of Barrett’s adds to a store count increased earlier in July, when Sun Auto acquired Miller’s OK Tire Store in Columbus, Mississippi. Founded in 1961, Miller’s has served the Golden Triangle region with professionalism and trustworthy auto repair and will continue to offer exceptional service as part of the Sun Auto Tire & Service Network.
